"Cheaper To Keep Her" by Aaron Lines is actually a pretty funny song about a guy who gets divorced and ends up having no money left, hence it would have been "cheaper to keep her".
I find that this song is even funnier for people because for a lot of people it is very relate-able. If you look at the high divorce rates (over 50% of couples) it is a good time to be a mediation lawyer.
Not only do you lose your significant others income you also have to pay for expensive lawyers (which can really add up depending how stubborn the couple is) as well as potentially part of your income for spousal support.
Sometimes it is just easier to separate and stay married until a later date when you are a little less... emotional? Angry? Ruthless? Take your pick.
Because "Living with a crazy wife beats an empty bank account."
